2025 National Children's Month

The 2025 National Children's Month theme, "End OSAEC-CSAEM: Fight for Children's Safety and Rights!" highlights the pressing need to shield children from online sexual abuse, a major concern in our digital world. This theme serves as a rallying cry for society to prioritize and actively defend the well-being and rights of children.

The Philippine government has established laws and initiatives like Republic Act No. 7610 and Republic Act No. 9344 to protect children from abuse and exploitation, including online dangers. Collaborations with international bodies and NGOs further boost the government's ability to tackle online sexual abuse.

Despite these efforts, challenges persist. Stronger enforcement of laws, increased awareness among parents, educators, and children about online safety, and investments in technology for monitoring online predators are essential. Protecting children's safety, dignity, and rights demands ongoing, comprehensive action from everyone involved.
