Jose Rizal's contribute

Rizal's greatest contribution is when he made inspiring and amazing literature during the Spanish colonialization. His famous novels are Noli Me Tángere (Touch Me Not) and El Filibusterismo (The Reign of the Greed).

He was a poet, novelist, and essayist who create amazing and famous works. His famous novels are, Noli Me Tángere and its sequel, El filibusterismo. These novels became significant with the Philippine independence movement. In both novels, Rizal bluntly made critics of the Spanish colonial rule in the Philippines and exposed the condition at that time when Philippine society exposed many ills. He also wrote about the injustices and brutalities of the Spanish colonies in the country. So, the authorities of Spanish colonialism banned all Filipinos from reading those controversial books. When all of the Filipinos read the books, they came to the realization that they were suffering from abuse at the hands of the friars. The two novels by Rizal considered the movement of the Philippine Revolution.

 NOLI ME TANGERE

Written in Spanish and published in 1887, this novel is storied about Crisostomo Ibarra, an heir of a wealthy clan, returning home after seven years in Europe and has many ideas to make his countrymen much better. The novel suggests how to confront the abusive Spanish authority.

 El Filibusterismo

This novel is the second novel and continuation of the first novel, NOLI ME TANGERE. In 1888, he went back to Europe and he wrote this novel and published it in 1891. Additionally, he added annotations to a copy of Antonio Morga's Sucesos de las Islas Filipinas, demonstrating the lengthy history of the Philippines before the arrival of the Spaniards.

Thus, for me, the most contribution that was made by Rizal is when he made two novels that can move Filipinos. This novel makes them realize that they were suffering from the Spanish colonial
